A poem
Brian, this poems evoked some thoughts I've been mulling on aging of late. Thank you for this lovely piece that spoke to my longings.
"Time is not the enemy, she declares"
"Age is timeless."
"To travel through time
and follow a path..."
Excellent! Makes me happy when a few words that flowed through me also flow through you!
Here we have an instance of “we are all connected.” :)
'beauty is food
for the wise' .
It surely is Brian, maiden, oh maiden, what a beautiful ode to her golden hair.
I’m glad you liked it!
Beautiful 💛
Thank you Ann 🍂
Glad you gave us this one, before fall gives way to winter . . .
As will all your poems, this is a beautiful meditation.
"and read the canyons in her trunks."
Love this line and all its meanings and imagery.
Thank you sir!
So many good lines in your poems. I especially like
of white lnowing
on this black surface
of we
Thank you Frederick!
Beautiful!
Thank you 🙂
Really nice imagery Brian. I really like the lines about the egret.
Thanks! I like that stanza…the placement between the tree imagery did some sort of highlight on it…
