I loved this deep dive into your process. I cold read you write about writing poetry all day. You’ve given me a lot to consider in my work. I’m thrilled to have found you on Substack!
"we see a picture of early dawn where stars are still shining and there is a glow on the horizon that slowly spreads upwards overtaking the stars. It is one of my favorite times of day to witness"
Thanks Nathan. I love summer, but that time of day is tough to find, unless I’m up at 4:30am! Stepping outside and witnessing this is one of the tells for me that autumn is here.
So true. I like to be up early, and here in Melbourne our sunrise is still at a time I can glimpse at the height of summer, so I'm often up before that happens to catch that moment of the inbetween.
Wonderful poem(s) and I love the way you explained your process! Thank you for this exquisite work that took my breath away.
Pamela, thank you for your very kind words and it makes me happy that this resonated with you. 🧡 Thanks for being here!
You're welcome and I'm so glad you are here too!
Gorgeous work.
The bookends!
Thank you 🌱
